Shome Thomas is a seasoned technology leader at American Electric Power with a career spanning over two decades, focusing on cloud transformation, infrastructure platforms, and data warehouse management. Since 2003, Shome has spearheaded several initiatives including the UNITE Consortium for Electric & Gas utilities and the modernization of applications on AWS Cloud, notably the Big Data Platform. Shome has implemented performance-tracking dashboards, automated testing processes, and led the operations of over 40 Business Intelligence applications, resulting in significant cost savings and enhanced operational efficiency. Previous experience includes roles at ProTec Group Inc. and Tata Infotech Ltd., where foundational technical leadership and architecture skills were demonstrated. Academic credentials include a B.
