Peter Civitarese has extensive experience in energy production management, with a career spanning over two decades in the power industry. Since March 2006, Peter has held various positions at American Electric Power, currently serving as Plant Manager for the Wilkes and Knox Lee Power Stations. Notable achievements include maintaining zero recordable and lost-time incidents for 2009 and successfully leading safety initiatives during the start-up of new gas-fired units. Prior to this, Peter worked at Conectiv as an Energy Production Supervisor, overseeing operations and maintenance of a 300 MW IGCC facility and managing a team of 15 personnel. Peter's educational background includes studies at Columbus State Community College and Delaware Technical College.
