Tarun Sood, DBA, currently serves as the Chief Data Officer at American Century Investments and is actively involved in several advisory roles, including membership on the Advisory Board for the CDOIQ Program, the HBR Advisory Council, and the Global Editorial Board of CDO Magazine. In addition, Tarun contributes to the CDO Governing Body at Evanta, a Gartner Company, and the Business of Data Global Advisory Board. Previously, Tarun held the position of Board Chair for the Enterprise Data Strategy Board and served as Chief Data and Analytics Officer for the Institutional Investor Group at Vanguard, where responsibilities included managing teams focused on data science and cloud transformation. Tarun's experience also includes a senior leadership role at Deloitte Consulting and work as a Senior Solutions Architect at EMC. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate of Business Administration from Drexel University and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, along with executive education from Stanford University.
