Rick Wilder is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in transportation engineering and design management. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Engineer Design at NYSDOT since November 2016, Rick oversees multiple bureaus including Consultant Management, Design, Design Mapping & Automation, Design Quality Assurance, and Rail Capital Project Delivery Group. Prior to this role, Rick was the Director of Design Services Bureau at the New York State Department of Transportation from August 1992 to October 2016. Additionally, Rick has been an active member of the Technical Committees on Geometric Design and Roadside Safety for AASHTO since January 2001. Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine, completed in 1992.
