Monica E. Russell, CEM, has extensive experience in event management and member services, currently serving as Division Director of Meetings & Member Services at AASHTO since December 2006, where responsibilities include directing the execution of meetings and sponsorship activities. Prior to this role, Monica worked as an independent consultant and Deputy Director in similar capacities, focusing on marketing campaigns for trade shows and conferences. Experience also includes managing substantial budgets while at Cable & Wireless Communications and MCI Communications Corp., where event strategy and lead generation were key aspects of responsibilities. Monica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Delaware State University and a high school diploma from Bowie High School.
