Kathleen Botterbush is currently a Research Project Representative on the WINS Medical Student Committee & Research Subcommittee at the American Association of Neurological Surgeons since July 2023. Kathleen has been a student researcher at Saint Louis University School of Medicine focused on neurosurgery and spine surgery since August 2021 and has continued this role at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis since November 2022. Additionally, Kathleen has worked as a Trauma Data Clerk and ATLS/ATCN Trauma Standardized Patient at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital since May 2013. Kathleen's research experience includes contributions to the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Saint Louis University and leading a senior design capstone project that developed a CPR guidance app. Kathleen earned a Doctor of Medicine from Saint Louis University School of Medicine (2022-2026) and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Saint Louis University (2018-2022).
