Brenda Baker

Brenda Baker is a faculty member at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University and serves as the Director of Policy for the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) since April 2023. Additionally, Brenda Baker holds the position of Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellow at the National Academy of Medicine, which commenced in September 2021, participating in an extensive learning experience at the intersection of health, science, and policy in Washington, D.C. Brenda Baker's educational background includes a JM in Law from Emory University School of Law, a PhD in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master's degree in Nursing from Emory University, a BA in Health Care Administration from Mary Baldwin College, and a Diploma in Nursing from Roanoke Memorial School of Professional Nursing.
