Joanna Kato Arnold has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Joanna began their career as a Traffic Assistant at UPN in 1998 and worked there until 2000. Joanna then joined Thomson Scientific and held the positions of Advertising Coordinator from 2000 to 2003 and Marketing Projects Manager from 2003 to 2008. After that, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Thomson Reuters, Scientific from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Senior Manager of Strategic Marketing at Thomson Reuters. In 2014, they joined the American Association for Cancer Research as a Senior Publications Marketing Manager and later progressed to Assistant Marketing Director. Currently, they hold the role of Associate Marketing Director at the American Association for Cancer Research, where they have been since 2014.
Joanna Kato Arnold completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Rowan University from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended the University of North Texas from 1993 to 1995, where they also pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
Apart from their formal education, Joanna has obtained several additional certifications. In September 2015, they completed the "AAP/PSP Journals Reboot" certification from the Association of American Publishers (AAP). In December 2012, they obtained the "Creating Client Value" certification, although the institution is not specified. In October 2010, they completed the "Pragmatic Marketing" certification, again with no specified institution.
