Benjamin Leonard has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Benjamin is currently working as the Vice President - Capital Markets Portfolio Manager at American AgCredit, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at U.S. Bank as the Vice President - Oil & Gas Division - Portfolio Manager from 2013 to 2021. Before joining U.S. Bank, Benjamin worked at The CIT Group as a Senior Credit Analyst from 2011 to 2013, where they were responsible for credit risk management on a portfolio of clients in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. Benjamin also worked as a CDO Analyst II at US Bank from February 2011 to August 2011, and as a CDO Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from May 2008 to February 2011. In addition, Benjamin has experience as a Transaction Management Analyst at LaSalle Bank from November 2007 to May 2008, and as a Registered Representative at Charles Schwab from March 2007 to October 2007.

Benjamin Leonard attended the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business from 2002 to 2006. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) degree with a focus on Accounting. In December 2012, Benjamin also obtained the certification of Professional Risk Manager from the PRMIA - Professional Risk Managers' International Association.
