Gabriella Johnson is an accomplished art historian currently serving as the winner of the Samuel H. Kress Foundation/Marian and Andrew Heiskell Pre-Doctoral Rome Prize at the American Academy in Rome, where research is focused on Renaissance and Early Modern Studies. With a robust background in academia and museums, experience includes roles as a Research Resident at the Center for the Art and Architectural History of Port Cities and as an Instructor of Record at the University of Delaware. Previous positions consist of research and consulting at notable institutions such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Winterthur Museum, managing significant projects related to Baroque art and early modern decorative arts. Gabriella earned a PhD and MA in Art History from the University of Delaware, complemented by a BA in Art History and Italian Studies from Colby College.
