Kevin Clarke's work experience includes being a Senior Editor/Chief Correspondent at America Magazine from July 2013 until the present, as well as an Associate Editor from September 2009 to July 2013. Kevin also worked as a Contributor at U.S. Catholic starting in 1996. Additionally, they held the position of Senior Editor/Online Content Manager at Claretian Publications from July 2006 to September 2009. Clarke's earlier experience includes working as a Reporter at Brooklyn Paper in 1986.

Kevin Clarke obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in English, history, and journalism from the University at Albany, SUNY, from 1980 to 1984. Subsequently, they pursued their Master of Arts degree in International Studies from DePaul University for the duration of 1998 to 2006.
