Miltiadis (Milt) Mavrakakis is a seasoned statistician with extensive experience in quantitative modeling and data science, currently serving as the Head of Quant Modelling & Data Science at Amelco Limited. Milt has a strong academic background, having obtained both an MSc and a PhD in Statistics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Milt has also held notable academic positions, including Guest Lecturer and LSE Fellow in Statistics at LSE, and has contributed to the field through roles at Smartodds as Head of Quant Training, Senior Quantitative Analyst, and Quantitative Analyst (part time), as well as a Fellowship in Statistics at Imperial College London.
