Marcel Burger is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in asset management and derivatives trading. Currently serving as Chief Investment Officer and Owner at Amdax since December 2020, Marcel leads Amdax Asset Management, focusing on trading, storing, and managing crypto assets for a diverse clientele. Prior to this, Marcel founded BurgerCrypto, providing asset management services to high-net-worth individuals and B2B consultancy from January 2018 to December 2020. Marcel's earlier roles include Senior Portfolio Manager Derivatives at Achmea Investment Management, where advisory and portfolio management for institutional clients were key responsibilities, and positions at Ernst & Young and various trading firms, including Van der Moolen and Optiver. Holding an MSc in Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Sciences from Tilburg University and a BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Eindhoven University of Technology, Marcel combines academic excellence with practical expertise in financial strategies and risk management.
