Tom Bailey is an experienced mining professional currently serving as the Underground Manager for AMC Consultants in Eastern Australia, where leadership of a consulting team is key. Previously, Tom was involved in business development and project management at Boliden, overseeing growth projects and managing operations at Boliden Tara Mines, an underground Zn-Pb mine in Ireland. With a strong foundation in mining management as the Mining Manager for Black Mountain Mining at Vedanta Resources, Tom managed polymetallic operations in South Africa, along with significant technical roles at Vedanta and Anglo American. Tom holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from The University of Queensland and an MBA with 1st Class Honours from University College Dublin.
