Dr. Stephen M. Papadopoulos is a practicing neurosurgeon and the director of clinical operations at Barrow Neurological Institute. He has been working in the field of surgical navigation for more than 15 years and is considered a pioneer in computer-assisted neurosurgery. While at the University of Michigan, Dr. Papadopoulos helped develop their revolutionary image-guided surgery program. He is a graduate of the University of Texas and University of Michigan medical schools. He also is a clinical professor at the University of Arizona and a past president of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
