George C. McNamee is the current Chairman at AmberWave. George has over 20 years of experience in the venture capital industry. Prior to joining AmberWave, they were a Managing Partner at FA Technology Ventures from January 2000 to June 2011. George has also held leadership positions at iRobot, Plug Power, and MapInfo.

George C. McNamee attended Yale University for their Bachelor's degree. George also attended Eton College and Loomis Chaffee.
