Caolan McKendry is an experienced professional in the game development industry, currently serving as Operations Director & Producer at Ambertail Games since August 2021. As Director of the Northern Ireland Game Dev Network since October 2020, Caolan has revitalized the community post-COVID-19, fostering engagement through events. Additional current roles include curating game development sessions for the 2024 Belfast Media Festival, advising on the RENDR Festival development, and managing the Indie Games area at Q-Con, which has significantly expanded under Caolan's leadership. Past contributions include serving as a Board Trustee for the Northern Ireland Raspberry Jam and providing community management services at Wee Pixel Media Ltd. Caolan’s passion for education and mentorship is evident through extensive STEM workshops delivered to young people and previous roles in content development for educational gaming initiatives.
