Roba Houhou is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in geotechnical and civil engineering. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Amberg Engineering since September 2023, Roba previously worked as a Design Engineer at RAZEL-BEC, focusing on tunnel design for significant infrastructure projects such as Metro Line 16-3 in the Grand Paris Project. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher role at EPFL, conducting research on eco-friendly soil improvement techniques, and a PhD candidacy at the American University of Beirut, where the thesis centered on measuring interface resistance between pipelines and soils. Roba's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from Lebanese University, a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Lille 1, and a PhD in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
