Sean Doherty is a seasoned professional in the field of biomedical engineering, currently serving as Director of R&D and Lead System Engineer at Amber Therapeutics since September 2022. Additionally, Sean has been a Research Fellow at UCL since September 2015, focusing on novel neuromodulation techniques for managing incontinence and restoring bladder control, while also pursuing a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the same institution. Previous roles include Product and Research Manager at Finetech Medical Ltd. from January 2021 to September 2022, Development Engineer at Odstock Medical Limited in early 2018, and various engineering internships at Renishaw and Delphi Diesel Systems. Sean holds an MEng in Medical Engineering from Cardiff University.
