Okba Boughanmi is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as a Tailings Technical Specialist at Ambatovy Joint-Venture since July 2022. Prior to this role, Okba worked as a Senior Tailings & Mine Waste Engineer at MECATER Ingénierie from March 2012 to June 2022 and began a career as an R&D Engineer, focusing on the Numerical Modeling of Metal Casting Processes at ARMINES from October 2008 to December 2011. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Computational Mechanics obtained from Tunisia Polytechnic School in partnership with Virginia Tech University (2007-2009), a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics from Mines Paris - PSL (2008-2011), and a Polytechnic Engineering Degree in Civil and Mechanical Engineering from Tunisia Polytechnic School (2005-2008), supplemented by a Preparatory Cycle to Engineering Studies at IPEIT (2003-2005).
