Michelle Pazmino has extensive work experience in the research field. Michelle is currently working as a Senior Research Associate at Ambagon Therapeutics since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate II at Epic Bio from January 2022 to January 2023. Before joining Epic Bio, they were a Research Associate at Zymergen from August 2021 to December 2021.

Michelle also has experience as a Laboratory Technician at the Carnegie Institution for Science from August 2019 to June 2021. Michelle worked as a Researcher at Universidad San Francisco de Quito from April 2017 to September 2018 and as an Intern at RWTH Aachen University, Institute of Biotechnology from January 2016 to June 2016. Additionally, they served as a Research Assistant at RWTH Aachen University from September 2015 to January 2016. Michelle had short-term roles as a Research Assistant at Wise Laboratory and University of the Sunshine Coast in 2014. Michelle started their research career as an Intern at Universidad San Francisco de Quito from May 2013 to August 2013.

Michelle Pazmino obtained their Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, where they studied from 2010 to 2018. During their studies, they participated in a research exchange program at RWTH Aachen University from 2015 to 2016. Michelle also completed a degree in Biotechnology at the University of the Sunshine Coast from 2013 to 2014. In addition, Michelle has obtained several certifications in the field of Genomic Data Science, including Bioconductor for Genomic Data Science, Command Line Tools for Genomic Data Science, Algorithms for DNA Sequencing, Genomic Data Science with Galaxy, Python for Genomic Data Science, and Introduction to Genomic Technologies, all of which were obtained from various institutions such as Coursera.
