Yanyu Yan is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in various analytical roles. Currently serving as a Data Scientist II at Amazon since December 2024, Yanyu previously held the position of Senior Data Scientist II at ProCogia from September 2019 to December 2024, focusing on search ranking, image retrieval, multi-modal model development, and A/B testing. Earlier roles include Data Scientist III at ProCogia, where responsibilities included network latency detection and customer reviews sentiment analysis, and a Data Scientist position at DV Trading LLC, as well as a Risk Analyst Intern role at Deloitte. Yanyu holds a Master of Science in Operations Research from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Zhejiang University, supplemented by an exchange program at UCLA.
