Somya Sheel is an experienced professional with a strong background in technology and management. Currently serving as Director of Worldwide Transportation at Amazon since October 2016, Somya has previously held roles such as Senior Manager in various departments and Principal of Tech Program Management, focusing on seller services, category expansion, and supply chain initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as General Manager and Center Head at Micromax Informatics Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed mobile identity solutions and analytics, and as Senior Tech Program Manager at Amazon, where the launch of the iOS and Android shopping apps was achieved. Earlier roles involved consultancy at Infosys Technologies Ltd, providing strategic solutions for asset management and project management. Somya holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a B Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi.
