Sekhar Suryanarayanan has extensive experience in product and business development, particularly in the payments sector. Currently serving as General Manager of Gift Cards and Head of Business Development for EU Payment Products at Amazon since April 2014, Sekhar leads initiatives in gifting, consumer financing, and rewards programs, and oversees a pan-European/US team focused on growth through partnerships. Previous roles include managing co-branded credit card programs in North America at Amazon, and serving as a Manager in the Strategy & Operations group at Deloitte Consulting. Educational credentials include an MBA from Columbia Business School and dual undergraduate degrees in Economics and Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
