Pierre Dakhel serves as the Director of Global Capacity Planning at Amazon since January 2017, overseeing capacity management for fulfillment centers across North America and Europe. Previous roles at Amazon include Director of Operations Risk Compliance, responsible for safety and regulatory compliance for Dangerous Goods and environmental assurance globally, and Director of Continental Europe Supply Chain Execution, focusing on inventory management and strategic planning across multiple European countries. Prior to Amazon, Pierre Dakhel worked at EDF from 2009 to 2016 in various roles, including Internal Control and Quality Assurance Auditor and Project Controls Manager for nuclear engineering, where expertise in strategic audits, risk assessment, and lean methodologies was demonstrated. Pierre Dakhel began a career as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and holds a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a diploma from École Polytechnique.
