Bob George is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and enterprise solutions. Currently serving as a Technology Leader at Amazon since December 2024, Bob previously held the position of Vice President of Software Engineering at Outset Medical, Inc. from March 2023 to January 2025. Prior to that, Bob was the Chief Technology Officer at Heru from July 2021 to March 2023, and also worked at Amazon in various roles, including Head of Engineering for a confidential program at Amazon Studios. Bob's career includes significant leadership roles at SADA Systems as Director of Enterprise Solutions, ProTrans International as Engineering Lead, and RealMed as Senior Software Engineer, and earlier positions that span research and development in bioinformatics and insurance software. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
