Katerina S. has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Katerina currently holds the position of Director, EU and CEE Marketing at Amarin Corporation since September 2023. Prior to this, they served as the EU Marketing Lead, Cardiovascular at Amarin Corporation from 2021 to 2023. Katerina also worked at UCB as the Marketing Solution Lead East Europe, Dermatology from 2020 to 2021 and at ELEMENT Consulting GmbH as a Pharmaceutical Consultant in 2020. Before that, Katerina held various roles at MSD, including Associate Director and Senior Brand & Customer Manager in the Immunology Franchise. Katerina began their career at Schering-Plough in sales and marketing roles in the Virology and Immunology divisions, and also worked as a Research Trainee at Hellenic Pasteur Institute.

Katerina S. has a diverse educational background. Katerina obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Patras in 1994. In 2019, they attended two educational programs: the LEAD Corporate Innovation program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the MBA Essentials program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). In 2021-2022, Katerina pursued a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in various areas, including Strategy & Planning for Commercial Launch Success in Pharma from CELforPharma and Strategy in the Age of Digital Disruption from INSEAD in 2019.
