Reza Baharnemati is a seasoned professional in product management and data science, currently serving as the Director of Product Management and Head of Data Science and Analytics at Amadeus since February 2020. In this role, Reza oversees the development of SkyCAST, a network profitability forecasting system for airlines. Prior to joining Amadeus, Reza held various positions at Optym from September 2011 to February 2020, including Senior Manager and Project Manager. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant on projects funded by the Department of Homeland Security and the Texas Department of Transportation at the University of Houston, where Reza also served as a Teaching Assistant. Reza holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston, an MS in Industrial Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
