Omar Khawaja is currently an advisor at ALYKA Health. Prior to that, they were with ACTION-Housing, Inc., Carnegie Mellon University, HITRUST, and Leadership Pittsburgh Inc. From January 2014 until December 2015, they were with Leadership Pittsburgh Inc. as LP XXXI where they were responsible for the information security and risk management program at Highmark. From September 2005 until December 2009, they were a faculty member at George Mason University in their graduate telecommunications program. And from February 2005 until November 2013, they were the Head of Product Marketing for Security Solutions at Verizon Enterprise Solutions. There, they were responsible for product marketing of Verizon's security solutions business in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. This included 550+ dedicated security consultants in 28 countries, the largest and highest rated MSSP in the world, the most PCI auditors (140+ QSAs) in the world, and the largest breach investigator (2000+ breaches, 1 Billion records) in the world.
