Kayla Lay, PMP and ITIL certified, serves as a Senior IT Project Manager at Alterra Mountain Company since June 2021, overseeing project management from initiation to completion while utilizing Waterfall SDLC Methodology. Previously, Kayla held various positions at GM Financial from November 2014 to May 2021, including Senior Project Manager in the Enterprise PMO and IT Project Manager, leading multiple projects. Earlier experience includes roles at Verizon from January 1989 to July 2014, where Kayla managed a $20 million annual portfolio in Finance and supervised network operations. Initial career stages included positions at Caltex Petroleum and El Paso Exploration, where Kayla fulfilled administrative and support roles. Kayla holds an Associate of Arts in General Studies from the University of Phoenix and graduated from Canyon High School.
