Alex Berl is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as a Senior Accountant for the Real Estate Division at Alterra Mountain Company since August 2020. In this role, Alex assists in the planning and implementation of the overall accounting strategy and oversees all accounting and reporting for assigned real estate development entities in accordance with US GAAP. Previously, Alex held positions including Senior Accountant at Balanced Health Botanicals, where responsibilities involved building the accounting team and focusing on cost accounting, and Staff Accountant roles at Centura Health and the U.S. Department of the Interior, where duties included general ledger maintenance and financial reporting. Alex began a career in the US Navy as a Hull Technician and holds a Master’s Degree in Taxation and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado.
