Mara Tavernier is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in impact business development, education, and community resilience. Currently serving as Impact Business Developer Coordinator at Alterna since October 2022, Mara focuses on strengthening businesses in Latin America with a strong emphasis on social impact. As a Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey since August 2018, Mara teaches business and marketing while facilitating leadership programs. Previous roles include Community Resilience Operator at Cruz Roja Mexicana I.A.P., where Mara trained communities in Puebla on entrepreneurship and skill development, and Workshop Leader at Fundación Nemi, focusing on community development for women and youth. Education includes a Master’s in Entrepreneurship and International Trade from Ural State University, alongside further studies in marketing, microeconomics, and positive psychology, highlighting a strong commitment to professional growth and community development.
