Rob Penington is a professional with extensive experience in technology commercialization and pharmaceutical consulting. Currently serving as a Consultant at AltaThera Pharmaceuticals since November 2022, Rob's previous roles include Assistant Director for Asset Development at the University of Iowa Research Foundation from November 2006 to December 2015, where responsibilities included driving commercialization of biomedical and chemical technologies in collaboration with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Additional experience includes roles at Lundbeck and a position at the Office of Technology Management at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Rob holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Illinois Chicago, an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Gies College of Business, a Master's degree in Pharmacology from Mayo Clinic Graduate School, and a Bachelor's degree in Cell & Structural Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
