Ana Paula TM is an experienced immunology scientist with a strong background in experimental research focused on inflammatory and immunologic responses. Currently serving as a Scientist II at Altasciences since October 2020, Ana Paula previously held roles as Scientist I and Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at Saint Michaels Hospital, where extensive work involved in vivo and in vitro methods, including mouse surgeries for sepsis and pulmonary infections. Ana Paula also completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Fiocruz, concentrating on platelet responses in sepsis models. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Immunology and a Master's degree from IBCCF/UFRJ, alongside a BS in Biomedical Engineering from UERJ and a fellowship in Immunology from the University of Iowa.
