Vamsi Gummalla is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Altair since May 2024. Previously, Vamsi held the position of Senior Cloud Architect at Cambridge Semantics Inc. from April 2019 to January 2025, where the focus was on designing and implementing a scalable and secure knowledge graph Software-as-a-Service platform utilizing event-driven microservices architecture and establishing an observability stack. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Cloud Developer, Sr Big Data Engineer at Nielsen, Hadoop Developer at Visual IQ, Inc., and Technical Lead at Infosys, where Vamsi contributed significantly to cloud deployment practices and big data solutions. Vamsi earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Srinivas Institute of Engineering and Technology, affiliated with Anna University, between 2003 and 2007.
