Marcin Beffinger is a skilled professional with extensive experience in carbody engineering, particularly in structural integrity and optimization. Currently serving as Design for Operations in Carbody at Alstom since January 2021, Marcin previously held the role of Product Manager for Carbody at BOMBARDIER TRANSPORTATION, focusing on cost optimization and manufacturing standardization across European production sites. Marcin's background includes significant leadership experience, having led a team of FEM engineers and CAD designers while managing structural analysis and design processes to achieve weight and cost reduction in carbody production. Marcin's career began with a foundation in welding technology and progressed through roles such as Structure Engineer at Cideon Engineering and Research Assistant at Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus. Marcin holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Vehicle Engineering from Gdańsk University of Technology.
