Anushka Bhargava is a Scientist II at ALS Therapy Development Institute, where research focuses on disease pathology and phenotype discovery in ALS models using advanced techniques such as western blot and immunofluorescence. Achievements include developing a phospho-specific immunoassay for phospho-TDP-43 and conducting in vitro screening of candidate small molecules. Prior to this role, Anushka served as a Scientist I, optimizing spinal motor neuron differentiation protocols and creating genome-edited cell lines. Experience also includes a Doctoral Researcher position at Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience, where therapeutic potential of Arfaptin-2 in ALS was assessed, and a Field Marketing Representative role at Proteintech Group. Anushka holds a PhD in Neuroscience and Gene Therapy from The University of Sheffield and has completed a Master's in Genes, Drugs, and Stem Cells from Imperial College London, as well as a Bachelor's in Biomedical Sciences from King's College London.
