Christy Strashek, CFA, currently serves as Senior Director of FinData at AlphaSense since July 2024, following the acquisition of Tegus, where Christy worked as Director of Research from August 2022 until the acquisition. Additionally, Christy holds the position of Independent Board Director at Tier One Silver since June 2021. Prior to this, Christy was Director of Research at Canalyst from October 2019 to August 2022, which was acquired by Tegus. Christy's earlier roles include Equity Research Analyst at Adaptable Capital Management from March 2017 to August 2019 and VP at Assembly Stakeholder Relations from March 2013 to July 2015, providing strategic counsel on capital market activities. Christy started in the field at Canaccord Genuity, serving as VP in the Retail Products Group from April 2009 to February 2013, and as an Equity Research Associate focusing on power, pipelines, and utilities from July 2006 to April 2009. Christy holds a CFA designation from the CFA Institute and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Marketing from The University of British Columbia.
