Shafeen Nayeem is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Staff Accountant at AlphaPoint since July 2022. Prior to this role, Shafeen held the position of Manager Finance and Head of Finance at STARTEK from February 2020 to September 2022, where responsibilities included leading the local finance function and reporting to the group Financial Controller. Shafeen also served as Manager Finance at Amana Takaful PLC from January 2018 to December 2019. Earlier experience at KPMG Sri Lanka spanned from February 2012 to December 2017, encompassing roles such as Project Manager, Analyst, Audit In Charge, and Audit Associate. Educational qualifications include CPA Australia, completion of training at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka in November 2022, and ACCA from June 2012. Shafeen's foundational education includes attendance at D.S. Senanayake College and Zahira College Colombo.
