Piyush Gupta is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Fund Manager at AlphaGrep Investment Management since April 2024. Prior to this role, Piyush held the position of Principal Quant Research Analyst and Team Lead Quant at Morningstar from May 2021 to March 2024. Earlier experience includes roles as Senior Research Analyst and Quant Research Analyst at CRISIL Global Research & Analytics from February 2016 to January 2021, and as an Analyst at Accenture from July 2014 to September 2015. Piyush also completed a summer internship at The Smart Cube in 2013, where an economic growth model was developed, resulting in a published white paper on growth forecasting. Additionally, Piyush interned at AIREP (NGO) in 2011, focusing on sustainable business models for rural bio-gas plants. Piyush holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Integrated Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, completed in 2014.
