Karim Lakhani is a distinguished academic and leader in the fields of digital transformation and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Chair and Co-Founder of the Digital, Data, & Design Institute at Harvard University since January 2022. Lakhani has held the position of Dorothy and Michael Hintze Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School since July 2006, focusing on research, education, and knowledge-sharing. Additionally, Lakhani is an Academic Partner at Flagship Pioneering, a Board Member at Mozilla, and previously worked as a Strategy Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. Lakhani's educational background includes a PhD in Innovation and Technology Management from MIT Sloan School of Management, and advanced degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and McMaster University in engineering and management.
