Michael Craven began their work experience as an Administrative Assistant at Western Illinois University in September 2015. In March 2016, they joined the Retail Bank Team at Community Bank of Oak Park River Forest. From June 2017 to September 2018, they worked as a Customer Care Specialist at MDC Wallcoverings before transitioning to the role of Marketing Assistant until June 2020. In August 2020, Craven participated in the 51st cohort of Victory Lap, a sales training program, before joining Alma Lasers North America as a Sales Development Representative in October 2020.

Michael Craven obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication, General and a minor in Marketing from Western Illinois University. Michael attended the university from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Learning SEO Tools from LinkedIn in May 2017.
