Anne Mariët is a criminology lecturer at Universiteit Utrecht since January 2021, bringing extensive experience in investigative roles from the Nederlandse Voedsel- en Warenautoriteit (NVWA), where positions included Senior Researcher and Tactical Investigator from September 2015 to December 2020. Professional background also includes working in a small-scale dining establishment focused on local and organic products, as well as serving as an orthopedagogue and study coach for school students.
