Heschi Rotmensch, MD, FACC, FACP, currently serves as Executive Director of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer at CATO SMS since October 2019. Previously, Rotmensch was Chief Medical Officer at Cato Research from January 1995 to October 2019, leading clinical R&D and pharmacovigilance efforts that contributed to the market introduction of over 24 drugs, focusing on rare diseases, oncology, neurology, and cardiovascular and metabolic disorders. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Vice President and Managing Director at PAREXEL, where responsibilities included clinical trial design and management across Europe, and as Chief of the Department of Medicine at Wolfson Medical Center. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and Recanati School of Management, a Clinical Pharmacology fellowship from Jefferson Health, and an MD from Sackler Faculty of Medicine.
