Daniel Glazier has a strong background in scientific research and methodology. Daniel currently works as a Scientist II at Alltrna since April 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals from October 2019 to April 2022. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from August 2014 to October 2019. During their time at the university, their research focused on developing a Dynamic Kinetic Diastereoselective Acylation (DKDA) method for the synthesis of rare and unnatural sugars. This research aimed to address the challenges in selectively acylating Achmatowicz derived lactols, which are used in the de novo synthesis of rare sugars.
Daniel Glazier attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2010 to 2014, where they studied Chemistry. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Organic Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2014 to 2019.
