Chris Henderson is an accomplished scientific leader with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and academia. Currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer at Alltrna, Chris also holds the position of Chief Advisor at Target ALS. Previously, Chris was Senior Vice President and Head of Research at Biogen, with roles as Vice President overseeing Neuromuscular & Movement Disorders Research and Neurodegeneration & Repair. As a co-founder of Anagenesis Biotechnologies, Chris has significantly contributed to the field. In addition to industry roles, Chris serves as the Gurewitsch and Vidda Professor of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. Chris holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Sciences, both from the University of Cambridge.
