Zhao Wan is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in electric machine design and development. As a Staff Engineer in E-Motor Engineering at Allison Transmission since April 2022, Zhao Wan focuses on eGen Power e-axle product development, including e-motor validation, R&D for new technology, simulation workflow development, and e-drive system optimization. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Product Design Engineer at BorgWarner, where Zhao Wan contributed to motor electromagnetic design for iDM products, and as a Senior Engineer at Nexteer Automotive, focused on electric power steering motor design. Zhao Wan's academic background includes a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Carolina State University and a B.S. from Yanshan University. Research experience includes work on transverse flux permanent magnet machines and an internship at ABB assisting in simulation and experimentation with electric machines.
