Balasubramaniam Jayaraman is a seasoned supply chain professional with extensive experience in various aspects of supply chain management including materials management, logistics, customs, excise, and foreign trade policy. Currently serving as the Head of Global Supply Chain at Allison Transmission since January 2009, Balasubramaniam has also held the position of Senior Manager in the same department. Prior to this, managerial roles at SSL-TTK Limited and Gillette India Pvt. Ltd provided foundational expertise in imports and exports. Balasubramaniam's academic credentials include an MBA in Operations Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies and an Executive Development Program on Global Supply Chain Management from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, complemented by a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Madras.
