Suzanne Savanick Hansen is an experienced professional in environmental sustainability, currently serving as the Environmental Sustainability Manager at Allina Health since June 2020, after previously holding the position of Environmental Sustainability Specialist. Prior experience includes serving as the Sustainability Manager at Macalester College from January 2008 to January 2020 and as an Educational Fellow at Carleton College from 2005 to 2007. Additional roles include Elected Supervisor at Dakota County Soil and Water Conservation District between January 1998 and December 2004, and Sustainable Campus Initiative Coordinator at the University of Minnesota from September 2000 to November 2003. Academic credentials comprise a Ph.D. in conservation biology from the University of Minnesota (1999-2004), a Master of Environmental Management in environmental economics and policy from Duke University (1994-1995), and a BA in geology from Carleton College (1985-1989).
