Dan Behrens, MHA, serves as the Manager of Population Health Operations at Allina Health since June 2012, leading the implementation of the Health-Related Social Needs Program and overseeing risk-adjustment operations. Previously, Dan managed the Accountable Health Communities initiative, focusing on screening and navigation for social determinants of health among Medicare and Medicaid populations. Dan's experience includes building effective care management processes as a Senior Business Analyst and coordinating patient care as a Care Guide Team Lead. Dan's earlier roles include Quality Lead at Accretive Health and Student Naturalist at Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center. Dan holds a Master's degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science Services Management from Drake University.
